Just came from Nagoya show. The venue was once again small. The width of
the stage was a bit narrower and the height was higher than the one in
Osaka. When I walked into the venue, there were already a few lines
formed in front of the stage so I decided to stand in the back this time. There
was a slightly higher standing area with bar tables where you can put
your drinks on, so I secured a comfortable spot and put my beer and my
bag on the table.
There were two Japanese men on my each side and more Japanese men on my
back. I was bit worried whether they would push me once the show started
but they didn't :)
Of the 3 shows I’ve been to in Japan, this one was the most enjoyable,
comfortable gig experience I’ve had! In the earlier 2 shows, I’ve been
pushed/crushed the entire time. From the first show, I got a bruise on
my left arm, and from the second show, I got scratches on my right hand.
I really enjoyed their music this time without worrying about getting pushed whenever the fast songs started.
Before the show started, I could get a few peeks at Brian, Fiona and
Steve walking into the back stage area. Some people in the front saw
Brian and said his name and Brian noticed that and quickly hid behind
one of the crews.
Again, they were all wearing in black. And I’m not sure if Steve was wearing
black pants.. They seemed bluish. Brian was wearing a black V neck short
sleeve shirt, a waistcoat and pants, Stefan was wearing a black shirt
and pants and Fiona was wearing a tight black tank top to show her
beautiful body line. Wow, she looked sexy *_* I couldn’t see her during
the gig, though, because a big amp was blocking my sight of her.
I think Brian was less chatty this time. Maybe a bit tired because they
just had a gig yesterday in Osaka and had to come here before the gig.
But right before FTCBH, people were shouting ‘Brian!’, ‘Stefan!’,
‘Steve!’ a bit, and Brian pointed at Fiona and said, ‘do you know who
she is?’ and people answered ‘Fiona!’. Brian pointed at each member and
when people said ‘Bill!’ as Brian pointed at Bill, he said, ‘no, that’s
Billie bad!’ and then said something like, ‘now we’re over with the
introduction, let’s Follow The Cops Back Home’.
There was a moment where Brian approached to Stefan as he was playing
guitar and tried to say something to Stefan but their guitars were too
loud so Brian put his face very close to Stefan's and it almost looked
as if he were trying to kiss him… *_*
During Mendelssohn, a very small mirror ball on the ceiling was spinning :D
Brian didn’t say the usual comments much this time. I think he said the usual comments only for Julien and Breathe Underwater.
Since I was so comfortable in the back, it really felt like they were
playing in my living room. Since I was standing on a slightly higher
level, there were no blocking heads in front of me and I got the clear
views of Brian, Steve, Nick, Stefan and Bill except Fiona.
Two Japanese men on both of my sides were very quiet. A man on my left
didn’t seem to move the whole time! A man on my right did a barely
noticeable head banging. I spotted some men in suits. They must have
come to the gig right after work.
I’m so happy that I could finally have a chance to ‘put my hands in the air and wave them like I give a f**k!’ :D
After Brian&Co. left the stage and all the lights were on, I tried
to take a pic but a staff stopped me. Even after the gig!!!
Thank you, Placebo! It's been a wonderful journey to follow you in Japan<3<3<3
