중딩 시절 샀던 이 레코드판은 지금 먼지만 먹고 처박혀 있지만...ㅋㅋㅋ

앨범 타이틀은 이 곡 가사에서 따왔나봐...

(쫌 촌스럽지만 그래도 옛날을 생각하며 ^^)

이 곡은 마틴 고어씨 작곡인데(빈스 클락 탈퇴 이후론 뭐 거의 다 고어씨 작곡이지만) 엄청나게 인기를 얻었던 곡이지만 정작 본인이 작곡한 곡 중 가장 안 좋아하는 곡이라고.

고어씨는 다소 모호한 의미전달을 통해 듣는 사람들이 각자 나름대로 해석할 수 있는 스타일의 가사를 선호하는데 이 곡은 그렇지 않아서 별로 맘에 안 들어한다고 한다.

이 곡은 게이관련 행사 때 무쟈게 써먹는다고 하더라...ㅋㅋㅋ

근데 난 마틴 고어씨 친아버지가 미군 출신 흑인이었단 사실이 아직도 충격이다...

멤버들 중에 가장 백인 같다고 생각했었는데...

근데 아버지를 많이 닮았다고 하네...

고어씨는 눈썹까지 금발(거의 백발에 가까운)인 거 같던데 어케 친아버지가 흑인인 것이 가능하지??

이 곡은 당시 나왔을 때 너무 노골적으로 S&M적인 가사와 채찍소리 효과 덕분(?)에 아주 논란의 대상이 됐었다고 한다.

근데 어째 뮤비는 (아주 살짝^^) 정치적인 거 같은데...?
