스테판의 애인(지금도 진행형인진 모르겠지만)이 Spanish라고 하더니...
Hotel Persona 활동하고, 아무리 스페인 사람이 애인이었더라도 
나라면 저렇게 유창하게까지 과연 스페니쉬가 됐을까 말이다....-.-
전에 어디 보니까 불어도 잘 하던데...

첨엔 브라이언만 불어를 해서 인터뷰할 때 입다물고 있는 줄 알았는데 전혀 그게 아니었다...

플라시보를 좋아하는 이유 중 하나가 바로 요런 거다.
영어만 하는 게 아니라 여러 외국어에 능하다는 거. 브라이언도 그렇고 스테판도 그렇고.... 
다국어에 능통한 다국적 밴드라서 좋다.

적어도 내가 본 거만 따져도

Brian: French, English, German (독어는 사실 유창한 수준까진 아닌 거 같다 ^^;)

Stefan: English, Swedish, Spanish, French

(4개국어 유창함. 인터뷰에 저 정도 오래, 길게 말할 정도면 꽤 유창한 거 아닐까...?)

Steven: English, -.- (쉼표 찍고 더 이상 보탤 게 없다는 거지...)

스티븐도 얼렁 외국어 공부해야겄넹..ㅋㅋㅋ

미국애들의 무식함, 이런 데서 은근히 드러난다는 거...

영어가 만국공통어니 세계 어딜가나 영어만 하면 되니까 외국어 공부할 필요가 없겠지...

그래, 그래서 좋은 점도 있겠지만

결국 평생 외국어 하나 모르고,

지네나라 밖에 여행도 잘 안 나가면서(어떤 미국인은 여권 없는 사람도 봤다) 살면 좀...-..-

이번 Summer video 홍콩/한국편에서도

America rules...라는 신문 기사 제목 옆에 does it f**k? (누구 글씨였을까? Brian 글씨였을 가능성 농후...?)이라고 갈겨 쓴 장면이 있었는데, 요거 보고 좋아하는 유럽애들 있었다.

그래도 미국 팬들이 좀 있긴 할텐데 어째 포럼 안에선 영 기가 죽어 숨어댕기는 듯....ㅋㅋㅋ

Part. 1: hi, Im Stefan from placebo and youre watching heineken(dot)es
Its difficult for us to have a perspective(?) but I think that we do albums in reaction with the previous album, then for us meds was very dark, and the themes,the lyrics where like a band with pain, so this album, battle for the sun, is more colorful, more hopeful and more optimistic.

part 2: I think that in battle for the sun we pushed the limits of placebo more, for example, the pop elements are more pop, the themes like an anthem more like an anthem. yes, more epic. The songs with more guitar have more guitars on this album. Yes, there is only one slow theme(song) in battle for the song, but its curios because I said that a little from the beginning of placebo, the sound, because the first song, kitty litter, was written by me and brian 15 years ago.

part 3: So, there is some kind of reference from the beginning of placebo. And its curios that some of the songs(themes) have their on life. So, there are songs that we wrote in 15 minutes, and songs in 15 years.

part 4: But is like a rebirth of placebo in this album yes, it is curios because we have a new drummer ..(and something with 2 years, I dont understand what he said. and again something with the core? ).. of the band is me and brian and we never thought of quitting the band, but we couldnt continue with the 3rd person, so at the end of meds era we made some decisions.

part 5: For example I play almost all the guitars in the album, before I played only on bass, and also in this album I wrote some themes (songs). The way people think of music has changed very much, and we have to follow the time, and now the recorded music, I dont wanna say it, but I think it doesnt have the same value as 10 years ago, because of the internet, but we know that people want.

part 6: Well, now we have more radio airplays in usa with the first single. so, so far this album is going very good than the previous years, so will see. No, I think the most surprising sound is the air instruments (?), the saxophone and everything. And also strings, we wanted to put sounds that dont have a specific(special) place, in music history.

part 7: A bit .. (s..?! straight, I think..) .. for example the strings and air instruments are more timeless, so this was the most interesting sound (again I dont understand..sorry) we didnt decide what is placebo, the sound of placebo, we have a side that is more pop, a side that is more experimental, a side more indie, a side more (?) , a side more rock. But also kings of medicine, that sound more like the beatles, because of the air instruments. Its a mix?" Or something like that.

사실 스테판이 말한 내용은 별 관심 없고, 그냥 뭔 말인지 몰라도 듣고만 있어도 행복하네...^^
