Neverwhere on BBC radio

이런 게 있는 줄도 여태 몰랐네! 작년 3월에 BBC 4 Radio에서 방송시작했던 라디오극. 

Neil Gaiman의 소설 Neverwhere를 라디오극으로 만든 것이란다. 
나야 소설도 안 읽어봤으나 이미 우리나라에도 소설이 번역되어 출간되어 있었다.
오래 전에 반지제왕 해리포터 오디오북 다운받아서 열심히 들었는데 ㅋㅋㅋ 라디오극이라...되게 복고스럽다 ㅋㅋㅋ

Natalie Dormer as Lady Door, the daughter of Lord Portico, whose family has the power to open any door, even where one did not previously exist. Dormer described playing the character, who is unlike her usual roles on screen, as one of the strengths of radio. Also a fan of Gaiman, she agreed before knowing the cast, which she described being part of as one of those moments... where you pinch yourself and you go 'Wow! I'm doing alright!'".
David Harewood as Marquis de Carabas, a mysterious nobleman trickster. According to Gaiman, de Carabas is named after the character of the same name in

Puss in Boots

. Harewood compared the character to Lord Asriel in

His Dark Materials

, and described him as dark, saying "I think he's practised in some pretty dark arts... and it's just a fantastically, imaginative, lively character."

난 책을 안 읽어서 모르겠으나 책을 읽었던 사람이라면 되게 흥미로울 듯. 난 McAvoy 목소리만으로도 흥미롭다 ㅋㅋ 
BBC 사이트에 있는 이 라디오극의 분위기를 전달하는 사진들을 보니 

굉장히 어두침침한 것이 내 관심을 마구 끄는구나 ㅋㅋㅋ
혹시나 해서 찾아봤더니 역시 오래 된 거라 유툽에 떠 있다. 
6부작이라고 하더니 유툽에서 14조각으로 쪼개져 올려 있는 걸 발견. 이게 전부인지는 들어보면서 확인을 ㅋㅋㅋ
다운받아서 iTunes에 넣고 반복청취를 ㅋㅋㅋ 오메! 버피의 watcher셨던 미스터 자일스도 출연진에! 

듣다 보니 목소리 알아듣겠음 ㅋㅋㅋ 방가 ㅎㅎㅎ
유툽 비됴 이미지에 보이는 금발 여성은 Tudors에서 Anne으로 나온 여배우인 거 같고, 

흑인여성은 전에 슈퍼내추럴에서 본 거 같다. 
흑인남배우도 낯이 익고 나이 지긋하신 분은 너무도 유명하신 Christopher Lee, 그리고 셜록 홈즈 씨도 있구만 ㅋㅋㅋ 

완전 호화캐스트!
McAvoy는 캐릭터 자체가 스코틀랜드 사람이라 Scottish 본인 발음 그대로 한다. 완전 소중한! ㅋㅋㅋ 

소설은 어떨지...? 읽어볼까...??

싸블에서 다음 블로그로 옮기다 보니 이전에 올렸던 유툽 오디오 영상들은 다 차단됐다. 

이게 BBC에서 DVD로 나왔던 거라 그런 듯. 그러나 난 이미 죄다 다운받아서 잘 듣고 있다는 거 ㅋㅋㅋ

오디오 영상은 차단됐으나 트레일러 영상을 발견. 이렇게 비주얼로 보니 오디오가 보이는 듯하다! *_*

이 호화캐스트로 영화나 들마가 나왔다면 어땠을까...오디오만으로 되게 재밌게 들었는데.

이건 실제로 영상화된 거 같은데 내가 가진 오디오 출연배우들이 아니다. 실제로 영상화되긴 했었다.

리처드 역은 책에서도 스코틀랜드 사람이라 역시나 스코틀랜드 액센트 ㅎㅎ

아... 이걸 매커보이로 본다면 완전~!! *_*

이 장면도 오디오로 기억난다. 신기하다. 오디오로 들으면서 상상했던 비주얼과 비슷하다 ㅎㅎㅎ
